New Member, New Journey!

Posted by

Hello Everyone in Canada and Around the World!

I have just joined aiim and wanted to introduce myself.

I am first and foremost, a person who is driven to make a positive difference within an organization and any relationships it touches.

I am currently responsible for global implementations and management of Salesforce.com, Pardot, HCM system and now, our ECM solution.

Our ECM journey is a new one as we have just started reviewing our needs a couple of months ago.

I am learning lots of new things (never new the depth and breadth of ECM!) and look forward to learning more so we can make improve our productivity,
efficiency and reduce costs to our company.

I will be attending AIIM18 and look forward to attending and networking!

Welcome, fellow Canuck!

Yes, ECM, and RM, is an extremely broad and deep field :). And, unfortunately, not one that many organizations pay sufficient heed to. Hence, it is incumbent upon us as practitioners to shine a light and show the rest the way.

If you would like to connect with a fellow Canadian, feel free to ping me!

Cheers.

Hello from another Canuck!

I have just spent the past four years taking our organization from no ECM to a structured ECM system with all the tools to create completely automated paperless processes. Feel free to contact me as well, at any time!

Welcome! I’m a new member as well. I can related to the changes taking place with ECM and RM. The institution I work for is going through many of the same issues. We probably all deal with different and similar issues when it comes to paper vs. ECM & RM. I also am attending AIIM 2018 and look forward to hearing other’s experiences.

Welcome, Linda!

As a Professional member myself since 2001, I concur about the breadth and depth of stuff out there that we as information professionals need to know – and can help our organizations with.

I may be a bit biased but I think we have so much good stuff on the website available to members and I strongly encourage you, and everyone in the Community, to pick a day and just wander about the site. Do some searches on keywords that are impacting you today. If you find resources that are helpful, let us know; if you can’t find anything on that one particular challenge, let us know that too and maybe we can put something together.

Looking forward to seeing you and so many of our colleagues in San Antonio next month,
